For the average person, we tend to update our style every few years. When we update our kitchen what do you do to get rid of all of your old dishes? Do you donate them? Do you sell them? Bentu Design, in Chaozhou, China, is introducing a new project called WRECK, which is a new series of furniture and exhibition pieces created from old and unused ceramics.
The team at Bentu Design wanted to bring awareness to the issue of wasted-daily use ceramics not only in China, but all over the world. Only a small percentage of the wasted ceramics were used to create the furniture and exhibition which leaves a large amount only sitting in piles.
