A new way of architecture is approaching the art scene. Italian artist, Edoardo Tresoldi, is known for creating massive and exquisite sculptures completely out of mesh. His latest series includes different historical architecture components such as orderly columns and colossal domes.
Tresoldi was given the task to sculpt a site-specific installation for a royal event in Abu Dhabi that is over 7,000 square feet. The wire mesh sculptures are then offset by trees, plants, and living walls. His sculptures also made an appearance that the Coachella music festival earlier this year.
