The future is looking bright for this sleek and innovative light. The copper dominoes require a chain reaction to turn it on. You are able to create any design or pattern you would like, as long as the first and last domino meet up with the copper strips on each side of the lamp base. The pieces are conveniently stacked in the middle of the base in order for you to use as many as you would like.
The copper material of the domino allows it to transfer the electric circuit throughout each piece until the last domino, aka the “receiver” domino, tips over to land on the base. The designers chose to use these types of materials to create a more tangible relationship between electricity and materials and to make it less instantaneous.
